โรงงานผลิตไบโอดีเซลจากสบู่ดำ
พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมีพระราชดำริให้ผลิตพลังงานทดแทนจากไบโอดีเซล จนประสบความสำเร็จ สู่การนำไปผลิตเป็นน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงสำหรับเครื่องยนต์ดีเซล และได้จดสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 9 เมษายน พ.ศ.2544 ต่อมาเมื่อ พ.ศ.2547 พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชทรงมีรับสั่งเรื่อง เมล็ดสบู่ดำ ว่าน่าจะมีคุณสมบัติบางอย่างดีกว่าน้ำมันปาล์มในการทำไบโอดีเซล จึงได้มีการวิจัยเรื่องเมล็ดสบู่ดำขึ้นโครงการชั่งหัวมันฯ ได้ปลูกพืชน้ำมัน เพื่อผลิตเป็นไบโอดีเซลและใช้ในปัีมน้ำมันของโครงการฯ 3 ชนิดด้วยกัน ได้แก่
1.ปาล์มน้ำมัน
จะสะสมน้ำมันไว้ส่วนเมล็ด สามารถนำมาแปรรุปได้หลายผลิตภัณฑ์ เช่น สบุ่ ครีม เนยเทียม ไอศกรีม อาหารสัตว์ และไบโอดีเซล
2.มะพร้าว
สะสมน้ำมันไว้ในเนื้อภายในกะลา เป็นพืชที่ใช้ประโยชน์ได้เกือบทุกส่วน
3.สบู่ดำ
สะสมน้ำมันไว้ในเมล็ดซึ่งมีสารพิษชื่อ curcin ทำให้เกิดอาการท้องเดินจึงไม่สามารถนำมาบริโภคได้เหมือนพืชน้ำมันชนิดอื่้น
สถานีจ่ายน้ำมันโครงการชั่งหัวมันฯ
บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด(มหาชน) เป็นผู้สร้างถวายให้โครงการชั่งหัวมัน เพื่อให้บริการภายในโครงการฯ แรกเริ่มเดิมทีจะก่อสร้างในรูปแบบ 'ปั๊มน้ำมันสามทหาร'ซึ่งเป็นชื่อเดิมของ ปตท.(ก่อนจะปรับเปลี่ยนโครงสร้างเป็นรัฐวิสาหกิจ คือ การปิโตรเลียมแห่งประเทศไทย) แต่ภายหลังเปลี่ยนมาใช้รุปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมจำลองมาจากสถานีรถไฟหัวหินแทนเป็นสถานีจ่ายน้ำมันที่สามารถผลิตกระแสไฟใช้ได้เอง จากแผงโวลาร์เซลบนหลังอาคารด้านหลัง และใช้ไบดอดีเซล ที่ผลิตขึ้นโดยหน่วยผลิตน้ำมันทดแทนในโครงการฯฟาร์มโคนม
การเลี้ยงโคนมในโครงการชั่งหัวมันตามพระราชดำริ เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่ พ.ศ.2553 โดยนำโคนมปลดระวางจากโครงการส่วนพระองค์สวนจิตรลดา 14 ตัว มาเลี้ยงเพื่อเป็นศูนย์สาธิตการเลี้ยงโคนมให้กับชาวจังหวัดเพชรบุรีและจังหวัดใกล้เคียงสำหรับการดูแลโคนมแรกคลอดถึง 3 เดือน จะให้น้ำนมโคเป็นอาหารหลักวันละ 4 ลิตร แบ่งเป็น 2 เวลา ส่วนโคนมอายุครบ 3 เดือนจะให้อาหารหยาบ โดยปล่อยให้แทะเล็มหญ้าสดในแปลง ซึ่งพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลเดช ทรงให้ความสำคัญกับลักาณะพันธุ์หญ้าที่โคกิน โดยโรงโคนมได้เลือกหญ้าพันธุ์แพงโกล่า เนื่องจากมีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการโปรตีนสูง เป็นพืชอาหารสัตว์ชั้นดีสำหรับโค ซึ่งการกินหญ้าสดส่งผลให้สุขภาพของโคแข็งแรง และสามารถให้นมได้มาก

Physic Nut Biodiesel Factory
King Bhumibhol Adulyadej was interested in finding alternative energy sourses. The Biodiesel Royal Project was a success because it produces biodiesel. It received a patent on April 9,2544 B.E. In 2547 B.E., King Rama IX thought the physic nut (Jatropha Curcas Linnaeus) might be better for biodiesel production than palm oil. This idea has been followed up with further stedies of the physic nut.There are three oil producing crops cultivated by the Chang Hua Man Project. They are used to produce biodiesel, which is sold at gas stations near the project area.
1. Oil Palm
The seed of the oil palm yeilds oil. Palm oil can be used to produce soap. cream, butter, ice-cream, animal feed, and biodiesel.
2. Coconut Palm
The inner shell of a coconut yeilds oil. Almost every part of a coconut is beneficial.
3. Physic Nut
The seed yeilds oil, but it contains a toxin called curcin-making it inedible.
The Chang Hua Man Royal Project Gas Station
The PTT Public Conpany (Limited) built a gas station at the Chang Hua Man Project to serve the people working there. At first, PTT planned to name it Sam Thahan gas station , which was PTT's name before becoming a state-owned enterprise. later PTT decided to duplicate the architectural style of the Huahin train station. This gas station produces electricity from the solar cells on its roof and uses biodiesel from the renewable energy unit.The Dairy Farm
The dairy farm was founded in 2553 B.E. Fourteen retired cows wre sent over from the Chitrada Royal Project. The dairy farm serves as a demonstration center for farmers from Phetchaburi and neighboring provinces.New born to 3-month-old cows drink milk twice a day and 4 liters in total. Three-month-old cows and older graze. They graze in the project's fields. King Bhumibol Adulyadej noticed which species of grass the cows ate. The dairy farm chose the pabgola species because it has a lot of nutrients. It is one of the best types of grass for cows. The cows were healthy and produced a lot of high-quality milk.
