การจัดการผลผลิตในโครงการ

การควบคุมดูแลการเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตผักและผลไม้ ที่เก็บเกี่ยวได้จากโครงการฯ มีการจัดการหลังการเก็บเกี่ยวโดยการล้างทำความสะอาด ตัดแต่ง คัดเกรด และบรรจุภาชนะ พร้อมนำขึ้นทูลเกล้าฯ และส่งไปจำหน่ายดังนี้
1.จัดกระเช้า ทูลเกล้าถวายพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช
2.กองงานส่วนพระองค์(ห้องเครื่องวังไกลกังวล และสวยจิตรลดา)
3.ร้านโกลเด้น เพลช 5 สาขา
4.ตลาดกลางการเกษตรหนองบีวย อำเภอท่ายาง จังหวัดเพชรบุรี

โกลเด้น เพลช

โกลเด้น เพลช ต้นแบบร้านค้าปลีกเพื่อคนไทยภาใต้การดำเนินงานของ บริษัท สุวรรณชาด จำกัด โน พระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ เริ่มขึ้นเมื่อ พ.ศ.2544 นับว่าเป็นหนึ่งในโครงการพระราชดำริที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ทรงจัดตั้งขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมให้มีรูปแบบและการจัดการที่เหมาะสมแก่การดำรงชีวิตมีความหลากหลายและราคาไม่แพง เปรียบได้กับว่า ร้าน โกลเด้น เพลช เป็น 'ตู้เย็น' ของประชาชนในแต่ละพื้นที่ เป็นการทำธุรกิจการค้าปลีกแบบยั่งยืนเกี่ยวกับ สินค้าการเกษตร ด้วยการส่งเสริมด้านการผลิตให้มีคุณภาพสม่ำเสมอ

พิพิธภัณฑ์ดิน

กรมพัฒนาที่ดินขยายพิพิธภัณฑ์ดินจากกรุงเทพมหานคร สู่โครงการชั่งหัวมันตามพระราชดำริ จังหวัดเพชรบุรี เพื่อให้เป็นสถาณที่สำหรับศึกษา เรียนรู้ หาแนวทางพัฒนาปรัปรุงเรื่องเกี่ยวกับทรัพยากรดิน และเพื่อเป็นการสะดวกต่อเกษตรกรที่อยู่ในพื้นที่ต่างจังหวัด
ภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์ดินจัดแสดงนิทรรศการสภาพดินโครงการฯ ก่อนปรับปรุงและหลังปรับปรุง รวมถึงขั้นตอนการพัฒนาปรับปรุงดิน จากเดิมที่ดินมีสภาพแห้งแล้ง ดินปนทราย จนปรับปรุงบำรุงดินให้มีความชุ่มชื้น กลายเป็นพื้นที่สีเขียวกลับมาทำการเกาตรได้อีกครั้ง นอกจากนี้ยังมีการจัดแสดงขั้นต่างๆของดิน และการจำแนกดินเป็น 2 ประเภท
ดินดี
ดินที่สามารถใช้ประโยชน์ในการเพาะปลูกพืชได้อย่างดี มีธาตุอาหาร น้ำและอากาศในสัดส่วนที่เหมาะสม ดินดีมักจะมีหน้าดินสีดำ
ดินเลว
ดินที่สมบัติทางกายภาพและเคมีไม่เหมาะสม เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการเจริญเติบโตตามปกติของพืชดินเลวที่เกิดขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาติ ได้แก่ ดินตื้น ดินเค็ม ดินปนกรวด เป็นต้น

ทั้งนี้ยังมีตัวอย่างหน้าตัดจำลองดินในแต่ละแบบ รวมถึงลักษณะดินที่มีปัญหาต่อการใช้ประโยชน์ทางการเกษตร พร้อมทั้งแนวทางการปรับปรุงแก้ไข ทำให้ผู้สนใจทีั่เข้ามาศึกษาก็จะทราบข้อมูลลักษณะดินในแบบต่างๆ อีกทั้งยังสามารถนำไปปรับใช้กับดินในพื้นที่ของตนให้มีคุณสมบัติที่เหมาะสมต่อการเพาะปลูกพืช เป็นข้อมูลในการทำการเกษตรได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพเพิ่มขึ้น และนับว่าเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ที่ดีสำหรับการเกษตรในพื้นที่แห้งแล้ง

Production and Distribution

The agricultural produce is cleaned, cut, categorized, and packed. Some was usually given to King Rama IX. The rest is sent to :1. King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Personal Affairs Division ( the kitchen at Klai Kangwon Palace ans Suan Chitlada)2. the five branches of the Golden Place Shop.3. The Nong Buai Center Market, Amphoe Tha Yang, Petchaburi Province.The Golden Place was founded in 2554 B.E. and is run by the Suvarnachard Company(Limited) under  Royal Patronage. It aims to be a model local supermarket, which sells products at good price.There is a variety of goods, especially produce. Golden Place is thought of a fride for local people because they shop there so often! It maintains good quality products and is a model sustainable retail business.

The Soil Museum

The Land Developement Department opened a second soil museum at the Chang Hua Man Royal Project in Phetchaburi Privince. The soil museum is a learning center for people to learn how to improve the soil quality. It is more convenient for the local people to go to the soil museum in Phetchaburi than travel to Bangkok.The museum shows before and after pictures of the soil from the Chang Hua Man Royal Project and exhibits the process of the improving the soil-quality-from dry to fertile land. There are also exhibitions about the layers of the soil and what distinguishes good and bad soil quality.Good soil = grows plants because it has nutrients, water and air in the appropriate ratio. The topsoil is usually blackBad soil = is where plants cannot grow or have troble growing properly, Naturally occurring bad soil includes shallow soil, saline soil, amd rocky soil.The layers of soil and soil improvement diagrams are exhibited. People can learn a lot about the different types of soil. Farmers can apply some of the techniques presented to improve the soil quality of their own farm. The soil museum is especially useful for farmes who have arid land.
